The amount of time I see someone post the most insane offensive stuff and then have a bible quote in their bio is wild

The idea that someone can be forgiven for doing unspeakable things, just by saying some words in their head, is an incredibly flawed idea morally

It’s as if hell doesn’t exist for ppl who are evil, it exists for ppl who don’t happen to say these words in their head, even if they were saints in life

Yes as a Christian myself I believe heaven and hell are for good and bad people. The idea of doing horrible things then just accepting Jesus as a gateway to heaven is incredibly morally flawed

Turning to Jesus because you have seen the error of your ways and turning to Jesus because you believe it to be a spiritual get out if jail free card are vastly different and the bible specifically speaks on this

To repent is to change action and mind, to be what you are no longer. It’s not just saying words and that’s that. You are totally misrepresenting what Christianity actually stands for

I’m not trying to be rude but as a Christian you shouldn’t be commenting on what you think is “morally flawed” in respect to Christianity if you don’t understand repentance as it’s taught in the Bible

That’s what I’m tryna point out to. There are people who do genuinely believe they can just turn to Jesus and then suddenly be okay. Rather than changing their action and mind

I’m saying that line of thought is morally flawed

I see your point but that’s not how people are going to interpret it. It comes across as agreeing with #1 and nothing else. People love to misinterpret and misrepresent Christianity so make sure you are clear on what the Bible actually teaches❤️
