fatphobia in venezuela has always been a huge issue perpetuated by maduro. maduro spearheaded one of the most anti-fat campaigns and strategically silenced the fat liberation movement. with the ousting of maduro, plus size venezuelans can prevail.

I think you are misunderstanding the context here. The Maduro diet is a remark on his handling of the economy. Many people lost weight because food was to expensive and they could no longer afford it not a critique of fat people

in no way do i support trump or his kidnapping of maduro, but i empathize with the venezuelan people. this power vacuum left is dangerous and they could get a great leader or a bad one.
