The sub head "The occupation of the West Bank was carried out with the help of soldiers who collaborate with settlers. Gaza was destroyed. Developments unfolded in Lebanon. Borders were violated in Syria. Iran was attacked. Ethnic cleansing and massacres were committed. This is how the Zionist right shapes Greater Israel."
this appears to be a non-staged photo of a real situation. Individuals look like what they look like and that’s not antisemitism However, I would have follow up questions about a political cartoon that chose to portray IDF soldiers all with yarmulkes and payes bc at that point it’s representational
I think if you draw a caricature with a lot of Jewish stereotypes to specifically represent the perpetrators of a genocide my first thought would be “hmm this seems antisemitic”. because you’re conjuring an image in your head of what an evil IDF soldier looks like and going “yeah make them look really Jewish”, as opposed to capturing an image of someone who incidentally has stereotypical features
like to give a parallel. if a journalist is at a crime scene and takes a photo of a perpetrator who happens to be Black, that’s incidental. Just capturing something that happened in real life. If someone draws a cartoon about “criminals” and makes them all Black, that’s pretty clearly racist
