It’s such a telling image that I had to use it. Yes they kill women and children and paramedics and the world should have been so enraged at that that the IDF and Israel in its current form should have ceased to exist. However, the world isn’t mad enough and somehow destroying a statue is doing more to mobilize American Christians against war crimes than actual war crimes

No fs, I see what you’re saying. In a way it’s extra significant as an image bc it stands out from the countless images of human gore from IDF victims. The fact that disrespecting a depiction of Jesus is more noteworthy to modern Christians than actual genocide is something to be studied
