Haaretz, the oldest newspaper in Israel (predating independence by 30 years) also mentioned this, as it was taken seriously by local law enforcement (but not the government).

Number one, if you think October 6 through 11th were full flags, they weren’t. It’s like saying Nazi Germany was an American false flag to fight the Nazis and the Soviets. It doesn’t really make sense.
