I mean shit I’ve got Republican friends I grew up with and whatnot, but most of them are pretty disconnected from politics and just vote with their family so idk how I’d react if they were like ACTIVE in that dhit

like I live in the South, I’m gonna have Republican friends I’ve made through non-political avenues (classmates, coworkers, etc.) but again I usually don’t know they’re MAGA until I already like them, because they’re not all up in my face with it all the time, I generally don’t like people who make being MAGA their Whole Thing

yes i have no issue with republicans, id say im a left leaning independent. i also dont agree with anyone who makes any politicians their whole personality, but its just the fact they are spewing about how it doesnt matter if they’re citizens or not, and about “white genocide” (i am a bipoc born us citzen) they just tend to blindly follow what’s on fox news. i want to try to atleast TRY to educate them or atleast tell them, even if it doesn’t get to their heads. my bf still remaining close to

them to me, as a bipoc woman, is tolerating and allowing it and to me it seems as him seeing it as socially acceptable. it makes me uncomfortable but part of me is scared to bring it up because i do not want to find out he would defend and prioritize them over me

Nah if you talk about “white genocide” you ain’t just a Republican, that’s straight up Nazi shit. I would absolutely not tolerate someone talking about that shit, as a Jewish white dude who’s had white people get comfortable enough with the white part to tell me that kind of shit, I cut people with actual NAZI talking points off immediately.
