Waking up to this was just phenomenal. Of course 16 votes would be yes, on a platform full of predominantly liberal individuals. The “hate” all of you scream about comes from WITHIN yourselves. Insecure, sad, miserable, and lonely people

Have you noticed that conservatives swarm this community at night

Then why is it always the conservative men complaining about the “male loneliness epidemic”? Also, since you unblocked me, have you since found any proof that illegal immigrants commit more violent crime per capita than US Citizens?

1) I’ve never had you blocked 2) I think male conservatives SOMETIMES bring up mental health for men in general. Blue collar workers have one of the highest suicide rates, construction workers specifically 3) I’ve never argued that illegal immigrants commit more crime per capita- just that illegal immigrants committing crime in any amount is an avoidable issue

You blocked me because you had a mental breakdown after I asked you to provide data to the claim you made that Illegal immigrants are dangerous even though they are literally less than half as likely to victimize you as opposed to any random US citizen, ONE. Two, I’ve never seen a seen a “serious” conversation about the male loneliness epidemic that wasn’t a festering hole of republic incel slop. Three, you literally did though, so…

Data that certain illegal immigrants are dangerous is the FACT that hundreds if not thousands have been arrested in the past year for anything ranging from assault 1 to full blown rape, murder, and pedophilia. My argument is not and has never been that all illegal immigrants are bad, just that crime on their behalf is AVOIDABLE. YOU brought up that illegal immigrants don’t commit the most crime per capita to try and negate my argument but it doesn’t work!

What does that even mean, “certain illegal immigrants”? Like certain groups or are there just evil individuals out there? You will never be able to 100% protect people, you will NEVER be able to completely close the border, you will NEVER be able to figure out the intentions and identity of every single person crossing the border. At least not while your party refuses to fund immigration courts and emergency border shutdowns. My point in bringing up crime data is that people like you don’t

Actually care about crime and its causes. You care about finding vulnerable groups of people to shit on because it makes you feel more important and distracts you from the billionaires shitting on you. Even IF I grant you that “hundreds if not thousands” have been arrested for those violent crimes there are still tens of thousands of people that have been arrested simply for overstaying their visa or crossing illegally to seek a better life while ALSO contributing to our country.

Certain illegal immigrants does mean evil ones, way to go critical thinking! Sure we’ll never be able to protect people 100% but we have vetting procedures in place for a reason and millions of illegal immigrants who entered the US between 2020-2024 didn’t go through that process. My personal opinion is that we have enough crime here and any amt of additional crime from undocumented unvetted immigrants is absurd

Feel like I’ve mentioned this to you before but I most definitely care about crime in every community. I’m dedicating my entire career to it. But the left doesn’t like to talk about crime from “vulnerable groups” despite the fact that is very much so exists. I mean take a look at inner city African American communities. Are you gonna deny that too?? Just because they’re a vulnerable group??

It doesn’t make me feel important to talk about these things. But it does make me sad that people like you willfully ignore issues when they don’t serve your narrative. You claim I don’t care about crime, but do you?! Or only when it’s crime at the hands of a white man?! Your argument goes both ways.

I ask this because realistically, why continue to support a politician who is objectively a criminal and has pardoned violent criminals then?

I study criminal justice and I am literally currently employed with a police department if we wanna go band for band on “how much we care about crime” and “what we’re doing about it”. If the goal is to reduce crime then that should be the focus as a whole. We can address how crime manifests in certain subgroups but that is a much different discussion and the solutions to illegal immigration from the party you support don’t address the root of the issue at all and furthermore are not going to

Meaningful result in less victimization. Illegal immigrants as a population commit so little crime relative to the aggregate US population that it will not make a noticeable difference to literally anyone, which is why it’s insanely stupid to focus on it. The biggest issues of crime stemming from the border including human and drug trafficking are massively committed by US citizens compared to immigrants.

I’ve been studying crime for the last four years and I’m still not even capable of fully crashing the nuances in the relationship of crime in the “African American Community” which is additionally a rather reductive way to put it because it isn’t a problem with a “community” of people. It involves not only modern policing strategies but also a history of systemic racism that have pushed people in to a corner.

Also, if republicans didn’t shoot down the border bill like 2 or 3 years ago then maybe we could have actually addressed issues at our border but your politicians aren’t interested in doing that because they need an enemy to identify and mobilize around… Man that sounds like a key quality of a specific authoritarian ideology like fascism…

Going band for band is a bad idea babe… In undergrad I was a pre law & CJ double major, interned with the state public defenders office & currently am in evening law school while working full time with the state AGAIN! Think before you speak 💕. You’re missing my point. Any. Amount. Of. Additional. Crime. Whether. 1% or 99%. By. Illegal. Immigrants. Is. Avoidable. & I wish you could say it’s not a noticeable issue to victims/families who have been beat, raped, murdered, etc by illegal immigrants

Gun violence does exist everywhere but you and the sad people who are teaching you need to address the rates that African Americans are currently killing each other at. It is a MAJOR problem within that specific community that we don’t see in ANY other. Systemic racism/ issues in policing most definitley exist but how can you possibly suggest they are the root of black people killing OTHER black people?

We didn’t have a major border issue during trumps first term. I think the crime rate was roughly 3% among illegal immigrants? Put in the effort and tell me what that number is now after the border has been wide open for 4 consecutive years

LMFAO you were none of those things. A crime rate of 3% makes no fucking sense and is implausibly high. Crime rate is written as per 100,000 people (per capita). The crime rate in 2023 of illegal immigrants in 2023 according to the Cato Institute was around 613 per 100,000 people which would translate to .00613% if that explains how implausible “3%” is for you.💀

Yes we still had major border issues because the root cause of the problem at our border wasn’t being addressed and still isn’t being addressed by this administration. You still can’t answer why the Republicans voted to block the border bill…

Also, it isn’t avoidable. You will NEVER be able to fully figure out every single person that crosses the border. You will NEVER be able to stop all crime. It will happen. We can only do our best to mitigate it. If you cared about mitigating crime you and the administration you vote for wouldn’t be hyper-fixated on a group of people that are significantly less likely to commit crime than US Citizens.

Some of those people. At the very least one of them, openly admitted to beating a police officer. That’s a violent criminal who got pardoned. It’s not silly to ask why your stance on crime lessens when it’s in support of Trump, a felon who openly excused violent criminals from facing the consequences of their actions
