
From your list, I’d say cutting foreign aid. My reasoning is that cutting it has likely resulted in the most amount of needless suffering and death. Epstein is just corruption so that will always exist in some form, cutting equity programs make life harder but not impossible here, overthrowing democracy is probably the worst in regards to being a threat to the institutions, and the Iran War…well…we’ll see. Too early to determine if that sees more loss of life and suffering.
Obviously what makes it hard is they’re all demonstrably bad events in their own uniquely bad ways 🤣 Personally though, I just don’t care much about the Epstein stuff. Not that it isn’t bad, I just have a certain disdain for the spectacle and “hollywoodification” of it. Sensationalism is the real American pastime.
