prices are going up regardless, they have for years. wages have stayed stagnant for many across the country. even washington dc’s minimum wage of $17.95 is only $37,336 per year, which is not enough to live in many places like the minimum wage is supposed to be. if we keep letting employers exploit us, we will all be trapped in the paycheck to paycheck cycle working multiple jobs just to survive.

The min wage isn’t a good barometer for what most people make. In lots of the country the market wage is well above the minimum wage

And for most good wages have outpaced inflation

they really haven’t. the average household income is $66,622/yr and with the average housing price of ~$360,591 people struggle to buy houses without putting themselves in debt with loans. the average household spends ~$78,540/yr keeping them trapped in a cycle of debt. and even if you want to say min wage isn’t a good barometer, it should be the very least you can be paid without going into debt yearly, because it clearly is not.

So you’re brining down warehouses over a 0.7% decrease in real wages?

I meant that real wages are up over the long term And I don’t even thing these numbers include the most recent data for 2026 which shows wages recovering some https://usafacts.org/answers/are-wages-keeping-up-with-inflation/country/united-states/

Hey man. Take a step back and think about who benefits from you thinking everything is fine.

I mean things could be improved but people are not worse of long term like you insinuate- the economic data simply don’t show that

Your just asking questions like “who benefits” to obscure from the actual data and support things that categorically hurt everyone
