So you’re ok with the government releasing the files yet redacting anything with Trumps name and then making statements on Trumps behalf (A courtesy they haven’t given anyone else) saying that Trump is innocent and not connected to anything? Thats not the least bit concerning?

My post never questioned the legality of them doing it. Its the fact that we have witnessed them abuse that power in real time to protect Trump, not survivors. They didn’t redact Bill Clinton, Chris Tucker, they actually put a photo of Michael Jackson and Diana Ross in the files and redacted their children’s faces to allude to their kids being victims when it was just a backstage photo from after the 2003 Democratic convention. Its a very dangerous game being played at the expense of victims
