Eh, most people will forget about Trump when he’s gone, he’ll probably start his own fringe cable news network, which is his ultimate goal with all this, but most people won’t care about him anymore. Things will go back to normal, people aren’t going to be so fanatical about anybody else that might be president in the future.

In a country and world where the poor die earlier and more often, those hoarding wealth are culpable. My hope is that eventually some ex maga people realize that their interests fundamentally don’t match our ruling class.

There is no “going back to normal”, and the only ones advocating as such are the privileged white folk who never gave a fuck about your government’s oppressive tactics towards marginalized demographics in the first place. Maybe “actions speak louder than words” doesn’t ring true for you, in that case you should worry about him declaring the insurrection act as he plans on invading Greenland. Be at war, with former allies, and a chunk of the citizens would be open to be targeted for being anti-war or even pro-Greenland under the anti-treason laws. He’s literally setting up the ground for mass ethnic cleansing here, on top of the developing genocide towards queer Americans (specifically trans ppl) and the ongoing genocide if Palestinians that we’ve been happily funding
