Looked into it more, the woman was charged with harassment from her former friend after she spammed her ranting about this attack long after they had a falling out and weren’t in contact anymore. The usage of slurs just made it seem more like harassment to the court I guess. I don’t think she should have been charged imo, she has a right to privately vent after being assaulted, but this Argo course is framing the story like it’s gay people’s faults that they don’t want to be called slurs

The headline makes it seem like these two events were more connected than they really were. Or that the assaulter got away with causing her harm in the first place while she was punished for ‘hate speech’. Just tabloid nonsense to get yourself mad over gay people or something

It’s more the fact that the words she used are subject to being prosecuted. People have been arrested for posting memes there. Roca News did a segment there not too long ago and multiple people said free speech is no longer a thing there.
