First of all “submit to a godly man” does not mean become property, that is biblical scripture that is commonly misinterpreted. The context behind this verse is that the apostle paul was writing a letter to men, because men were usually the ones who were in charge due to society back then. Also, Charlie never explicitly told women to go back to the kitchen, you are clearly exaggerating and reading things that he said taken out of context, instead of watching videos of him speak, with context.
Totally missed the “abandon careers and education” part didnt you. When you take both of those things from women what do you get. Up until 1967 women were treated like lesser than men, and who did that, christians by quoting the bible such as Charlie Kirk did. You can say “you need context,” while im giving you proof with context. Im not typing out a transcript of his whole career but he has stated women are meant to stay at home and have babies. You also haven’t put any information forward.
What you are referencing seems to be a statement from a liberal eyewitness. Eyewitness accounts are typically full of biased points, producing propaganda. Charlie was not saying that women shouldn’t be in the workforce or abandon education altogether, but to find joy in building a family, which can happen alongside a career. Modern-day feminism has lied to women by telling them that they must be in the positions that men were, rather than celebrating motherhood AND women in the workforce.
The statement comes from those who attended the summit which happens to be a republican summit with many eye witnesses and direct quotes all stating the same thing. And if eyewitness accounts are full of bias how am i supposed to take the evidence, which you still haven’t given, with any type of reverence. I found news sources that the same thing if thats proof enough for you.
Well, who wrote that statement, and what do they believe? Anyway, Charlie and Erika, if you watch the 16 minute video on YouTube, are celebrating women excellence, and they explicitly state that whether you choose to pursue a career or get married (or both, and as long as you are sustained mentally, physically, and spiritually) you are living a good life. Society needs to stop telling women how to live their lives and let women be women. Plain and simple.
