The new strategy aipac is deploying is just giving dark money donations from their regular donors without disclosing it as aipac, and even letting their candidates condemn them. They’re smart enough to know their brand is toxic, so the fact steyer never comes out to say genocide is concerning, then again the whole field is concerning

AIPAC technically always did this because legally, they’re a 501(c)(4) nonprofit. They don’t need to disclose their donors. Everything is funneled through super pacs like United Democracy Project or shell PACs like “Affordable Chicago Now”, so it just says the money comes from AIPAC, but there isn’t really a clear trail leading to a real human
