I used to think of “old-style” conservatives as redeemable, and i still do. I even could have been an old-style small gov conservative if i wasnt a queer. But defending MAGA is NOT conservative, its disgusting depraved SPINELESS behavior. Many of my conservative family members have turned against MAGA as they came to realize that MAGA is not interested in “protecting children” or “small gov” or “personal freedom”… i still dont really understand how they got duped by Trump in the first place, but im so relieved theyve come to.
