Yeah the fear of death isn’t stopping criminals and I’m tired of my tax dollars being used to kill people when statistics show that it costs less to keep someone in maximum security for the rest of their life. The even cheaper option is focusing on rehab for petty criminals so we can set them up to enter back into society, thrive, and not require our tax dollars to just sit and rot in prison

Yes! Relatively petty criminals are kept in our for-profit prisons in horrid conditions where pests are rampant, food is subpar, and we’re just expected to think prison r@pe is okay???? Criminals are treated like animals, and we wonder why so many come out worse than before they went in, which then furthers the risk to the public.
