Don’t think for one minute AI won’t replace blue collar jobs. Millions have already been invested into humanoid robots with AI capabilities that can do blue collar work. They’re in the same boat as everyone else they just don’t realize it yet

Oh I’m sure they’ll try. I can’t see a near future where robot investment and upkeep is cheaper than abusing a person. But it’s also much harder than faking being good at white collar office lingo

Emphasis on near future but yeah I think you’re right. If they can’t see far enough ahead to be worried about climate disaster years down the road then they’re certainly not fretting about mainstream humanoid robot laborers maybe a decade or two from now
