Male loneliness epidemic has the worst discourse ever, either it’s not real / fuck men we hate them anyways, or it’s the fault of feminism and DEI. Like there’s gotta be some rational voice that’s concerned that young men have been left behind in society

Yeah there’s a lot of stuff to be concerned about. I really think that things like offering women-in-STEM-esque opportunities to men going into fields like education could help a lot, young men need more positive male role models.

Even if it’s just men not being able to date (which is just a very disingenuous framing of people’s concerns), that’s also very bad for society, birth rates are already bad, they’ll be even worse if dudes just are unable to date for various societal reasons

and i’m telling you, when i talk to 99% of these guys they are just mad they’re single and think a girlfriend will fix it. they don’t realize the pain it is to still be lonely in a relationship because you didn’t actually fix yourself before entering it.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Scholarships and stuff that we offer to female students in male dominated fields, we could also offer to male students in female dominated fields like education.
