??? I grew up southern Baptist and was VERY into right wing politics until only a few years ago. I CHOSE to do research and see a better path and advocate for my peers. Furthermore, education is correlated with political alignment, but it doesn’t cause it. Some of the smartest and most educated people I know are rightoids. It’s kinda contradictory to be calling me stupid when you’re arguing against being hateful

Where did I call you stupid? My point I that nobody really chooses to lead a stupid life, some people just don’t have the opportunity to find a way out like you did. Effort and luck both play a part in that

Ah I see, I misunderstood the last sentence of your previous comment. That’s my bad, my apologies. I guess my point is that you can give someone an entire shack, all the bait in the world, and a beautiful rod, and still, they may decide to never fish. In Raichik’s case, she was educated and still went down the path she did.

For sure. And I’m being a bit pedantic cause this is yy and why not. I just always think it’s interesting that people attribute their better qualities to moral uprightness and worse ones to bad luck when both are a mix of both. But yeah someone who’s dedicated their life to spreading this toxic shit likely knows better and chose to act immorally anyway
