Having him with the rosary and that headline together is INSANE. Like obviously you can be religious and a scientist. However, the two nearly never cross and if they do it’s typically “I believe evolution is real, I also like to believe God has a hand in evolution.” There is exactly one place for God of the gap in science, and a man who doubts germ theory should not be in science.

It’s counterintuitive to have the most powerful man in science holding a religious item. Implying that religion is a part of science is when we’re going to die as a country

I think the type of scientist who happens to have a faith and doesn’t deny the scientific method is more common than you might think.
