Wasn’t this like, actually pretty close to J.R.R. Tolkien’s view at the end of his life? Like IIRC he kinda left on a note of “Anarchism makes sense but also the idea of a king just fucks severely, so we should still have one and just have him for the vibes but not actually rule over us”
