Anime haters forget that studio ghibli, pokemon, and Naruto are all anime. They just hear the term and immediately think of the weirdest shit possible. Not to mention how shows like ATLA and the earlier teen titans series heavily mimic anime, but no one is shitting on those fans.

There are also definitely some weird ass animes that have creepy pedo vibes to them. Their hate is justified
