There’s probably like 2 Buddhists and a Hindu in the entire coast guard, the people getting swastika tattoos are NOT likely to be from those religions. Also at some point you just have to let a symbol go. A sonnenrad, a swastika, a noose, the Dutch prince’s flag, the odal, the iron cross. They have varied origins but they mean something else in this cultural context.

I’m Hindu and I’m fine with it being classified a hate symbol. Besides ours looks very different from the hakenkreuz
