sinophobia is when not wanting a dictatorial surveillance (ethno)state to gobble up its neighbors. the PRC, like the US is broadly a hostile actor on the world stage, and is just a different, arguably worse form of capitalism.

yes, in the same way China or Russia or the US is. It’s the second world superpower, albeit far weaker than the US right now. It’s trying to expand its sphere of influence, as all superpowers are want to do. China is literally an ethnostate, it’s upwards of 90% Han Chinese due to an extensive history of often forced assimilation of minority ethnicities and cultures. The fact that the US is catching up in terms of being a dictatorial hellhole doesn’t redeem the PRCgovernment. Dictatorship bad
