Murder is a far larger problem for men than it is for women. If you are prioritizing preventing the murder of women then you are part of the problem. Its like saying "white lives matter" when blacks have a far higher victimization rate

Men murdering men, yes. Why do you think that is? And when people refer to femicide, it’s referring predominantly to domestic violence and violence against women due to spurred feelings from men. The problem with your metaphor is that men are more protected and enshrined by government, and would be the protected group (ie the white people).
