i mean i wouldn’t have a problem with month long vacations for congresspeople if US workers were entitled to any reasonable amount of annual leave. Being a congressperson is genuinely a very taxing occupation.

I have a major problem with it because of how the average American can barely even afford to live working 2 jobs and yet they can just go to Hawaii for two months while the people that they are supposed to represent is quit literally suffering

Entire thing is compromised bro, especially since congress can just buy stocks so there is a major conflict of interest plus companies being able to lobby. I’m tired of this bro😭
