Downvotes but no replies because it’s objectively the case. The median outcome for socialist countries is vastly inferior to that of capitalist nations. Countries with social democratic structure integrate principles from both and outperform both.

I’m not a communist so i don’t support many of the governments we are talking about, but the confounding factor of US invasion and coups heavily biases the results, and you need to take into account all the developing countries who were exploited by capitalism, not just the ones at the top who benefited.

They defo do some things better than us and others worse. At the end of the day every system is going to have its pros and cons. What’s great about being human is you’re free to leave and live somewhere else if you think they have it better than us. One thing I find funny is that some Americans pretend that we don’t have it pretty damn great ourselves. We objectively do. Our standard of living ranks pretty comparably to Sweden and most of the Scandinavian countries.
