A very small amount of people are justifying it, and a modest amount of people acknowledge it was horrible but are downplaying it. Its not representative of all women at all.

I support the jurors in their decisions. Whatever they make. I support women’s health, and I support mental health focused reform in our legal system. Whatever you people are talking about, you’re not talking about it for good reasons.

How did we go from "women should be able to vote" to "women should be treated equally in society and in the workplace" to "we need to hold rapists accountable" to "women shouldn't be held responsible for murdering their children if they claim postpartum psychosis despite doctors saying otherwise"?

I'm bringing attention to it because it's insane. Postpartum psychosis is a real and horrible thing, but thats not what this was. This was premeditated murder.

why do u just inherently support jurors in their decision ? like i understand that’s how we determine rule of law, but jury’s have very famously gotten it wrong in a lot of highly politicized and politically charged cases.

Yeah, but that’s not their fault except for cases where an all white jury uphold racism, etc.. etc… the failing are the prosecution having a shit case and her attorney having better evidence of reasonable doubt. If you don’t like jury’s I get it, but in this case, I have no reason to believe that they are acting on any bias. They were given the evidence and made their decision.

So, it’s worth mentioning here, if psychosis really is the cause of her actions rather than malice, then she SHOULD be institutionalized rather than put in a penitentiary — that’s a normal and sane view to have. All of this boils down to you projecting your view of that fact question onto everyone else in bad faith.
