Been a long time since I was religious, but wasn’t Jesus’s whole thing that anyone could follow him?

I mean sure he didn’t say you’d go to heaven.

Conservatism is the antithesis of jesus’ beliefs. They do not love their fellow man, they give money to the rich, they’re adulterers, etc

It very explicitly states being a good person or “works” does not get one into heaven

Not how it works. Being saved does not give you a free pass to be an evil person. Because that means you haven’t been saved you’re just pretending

If you say you don’t need to be a good person to get into heaven, what does that say about yourself?

If you go by the Bible you are inherently a sinner, no matter what you do it is inescapable

The fact that being a good person doesn’t automatically get you into heaven does not mean you can be a bad person freely. That will still harm your chances, even more so.

Are liberals the ones supporting open marriages??

Anonymous#44w
Right but being even more of a sinner doesn’t, like, help.

I’m not saying liberal ideology isn’t flawed too, but conservatism today means worship of wealth, excessive pride aka nationalism (the gravest sin of all), it goes way deeper than stuff like being gay.

1. Most conservatives are farmers and blue collared workers….
2. It is alright to have pride (being proud) in one’s nation or work, but not ok to be prideful (imbalance/sin)
