I’m against the death penalty in general but like come on guys really they suck but like there’s so many easier ways to just prohibit a practice than killing people.

If the government is involved (as I would assume by the original post) you can just take people’s assets away and ban data farms the murder part is completely unnecessary.

I'm against the death penalty for everyday infractions from the general population, however I think it's something that needs to be implemented for civil rights violations that involved uses of force and political meddling intended to influence the choices of others. Half the time people on social media are arguing with AI bots whose sole goal is to drive division and you will never have a genuine conversation in that context. The owners should be arrested and tried.

I take the view that if preventative action can be taken (and it just about always can), the death penalty is unnecessary and only serves to fulfill a desire for vengeance that is incompatible with my humanist worldview. All an unnecessary execution does is cause more suffering.
