A car is considered a lethal weapon it doesn’t matter if at the time it is striking the officer it was going slower. It’s the equivalent to shooting at an officer.

I’ve never been a police officer but firing 3 times after getting bumped by a car, calling someone a fucking bitch and then fleeing the scene doesn’t strike me as the behavior or someone who just felt like they saved their own life

It’s not in my personal character to immediately shoot someone if they accidentally bumped me with their car (and I’ve stated before why I think it was an accident). Even if I thought they did it on purpose I wasn’t mowed down by it. So yeah no I’m not gonna budge on this one

Im not positive the exact moment the gun was fired from his POV video, are you saying he fired before the car made contact? There was approximately one second between when he said “get out of the car” and when the car bumped him as she was driving away, so if that’s the case I’m surprised he had his gun ready to fire let alone process what was happening

Again you do not know how policing and self defense works, or how fast these situations play out. Self defense is justified when you believe the other person is about to cause serious bodily injury or life threatening danger to you or another person. A car is considered a lethal weapon if you are trying to hit someone with it or at least perceived to be hitting someone with it. It doesn’t matter if it was just a bump or what her speed was.
