Unpopular opinion: The Rights & Privileges of the States exist only for the citizens thereof. Not corpos, not foreigners(possible exception for Foreign Nationals), and not other countries, our laws KNOW borders. There: Now everyone hates this idea.

No, legal rights should apply to all people regardless of nationality. We shouldn’t take away someone’s right to due process just because they’re not a citizen.

I agree it shouldn’t apply to corporations, but it should apply to foreigners on American territory

Good compromise. Int’l law beyond our borders. Our laws within.

Should the privileges not be extended on a case by case basis though? Really the Feds should defer to the state’s ruling I would think.

No, because the bill of rights and many of the constitution’s amendments say “person” and not specifically “citizen.” There are some privileges, like voting, that I agree are fine to be exclusively for citizens, but basic rights afforded by the constitution should be applied to anyone reasonably within the U.S.’s jurisdiction

We can’t take away something that didn’t constitutionally exist in the first place
