I asked if the building was fully troops, they said “well it was only the top floor that was hit actually” So now im asking if the top floor was entirely troops, question hasn’t changed

He didn’t answer the question he sidestepped it. the high rise was bombed it being “only the top floor” ONLY matters if it was american troops being housed on those levels. Otherwise the distinction doesn’t matter

Unless it’s been confirmed by Bahrain or our government, that’s what Iran is claiming. If there were US troops there, then it’s a legitimate target for them. You’re the one who sidestepped the statement on the girls school, which he’s being consistent on if the US is willing to do the same.

It’s not a separate conversation. It’s equivocation. Iran isn’t going to attack the US because it doesn’t have the capability. The next targets are military bases and troops within the region. If they know that US troops were being moved out of bases and into hotels and they struck those hotels because of that reason, that’s a legitimate targeting that can be justified.

Military bases are a pretty easily agreeable target, I feel like most people would be okay with that as a target High rises are fine IF it’s entirely housed by military, otherwise you’re still bombing civilians and that’s bad. Not a difficult concept I feel

I believe it was from an AFP screenshot from state TV, but it’s pretty hard to get news on what’s happening on the ground. I haven’t seen any allegations that it’s AI or video game footage as of last night, and people were able to geolocate the school and it lined up with the footage

Doesn’t this justify the 2021 strike on Al Jazeera’s headquarters because Israel claimed Hamas was storing weapons there? This is a very slippery slope. Troops shouldn’t be hiding in civilian infrastructure, the opponent shouldn’t be striking civilian infrastructure either
