I was under the impression you were just allowed to bomb whoever as long as you say you “have the right to exist and defend yourself” and if anyone questions why you’re bombing all those people, you just call them anti-Persian bigots. That’s the playbook for being the most moral force in the world, right?
Unless it’s been confirmed by Bahrain or our government, that’s what Iran is claiming. If there were US troops there, then it’s a legitimate target for them. You’re the one who sidestepped the statement on the girls school, which he’s being consistent on if the US is willing to do the same.
The same iran that was using war thunder clips passed off as real footage, Probably best to wait until someone else confirms something no? The post is about bahrain and iran, if you want to have a separate conversation about that we can (it was bad and shouldn’t have happened)
It’s not a separate conversation. It’s equivocation. Iran isn’t going to attack the US because it doesn’t have the capability. The next targets are military bases and troops within the region. If they know that US troops were being moved out of bases and into hotels and they struck those hotels because of that reason, that’s a legitimate targeting that can be justified.
I believe it was from an AFP screenshot from state TV, but it’s pretty hard to get news on what’s happening on the ground. I haven’t seen any allegations that it’s AI or video game footage as of last night, and people were able to geolocate the school and it lined up with the footage
