These new ice agents “have some weird tattoos” and are more “ideologically motivated” - ice agents who wished to remain anonymous. I wonder what THAT means.

Doesn’t matter. Tattoos are an expression of free speech

Freedom of speech is great, precisely because, when you see someone use their freedom to get a white supremacist tattoo, you know who you’re dealing with.

I wonder if their intention was “their tattoos are illegal”, or if it is “I’m worried that they have dangerous alternative motives for joining”? I’d bet it’s the latter, considering the tattoos in question are most likely hate symbols and white supremacist iconography…

Do you think ICE would accept me if I had a tattoo that says “trans rights” and another that depicts my little pony horses having sex with each other

Wait why did you respond that way? That contradicts your whole point are you some kind of idiot? I legitimately didn’t think you’d fall for the rhetorical trap they were setting, man.

When you work for the government you cannot display political opinions while identifying yourself as a government worker. AKA you shouldn’t have anything on you displaying political opinions. I did an internship for a government agency and one of the questions was did I have any tattoos and to describe them.

Exactly the Hatch Act applies to federal law enforcement and they are actually apart of the further restricted categories.
