Saudi anti-riot police have apparently been sent because the Shia community (Bahrain is almost split, but ruled by Sunnis) is not happy about hosting US forces or the attack on Iran

No one in the gulf is happy about the attack on Iran because it disrupts our business. I doubt it’s the majority of the Shia community and instead some Iranian-funded proxies who seek to unite Bahrain with Iran

Irans main schtick is the dissolution of the monarchies and imposing Iran-style theocracies. The monarchies are far from perfect but they at least are tied to the land, have a responsibility to their people and are relatively far more progressive than Islamist military dictatorships. As a gulf Arab, the sentiment is one of support for the emirs and sheikhs rather than the islamists
