the republican party’s stance in the U.S. right now on war is pro - and we have been bombing schools, hospitals, all of that not just military bases (morally impure), the president (r) lashes out at reporters, or civilians whenever pressed with anything but praise, calling them names, flipping them off (morally impure), they oppose healthcare for all, as they would rather it be privatized so for profit businesses can take advantage of everyone than for the ‘bad’ people to get it (morally impure)

Moral purity is a very specific and very christo-centric sense. The left has its own self of moral purity but falls along policy lines. The left is also infinitely worse at tearing down our own. The right will coalesce (for the most part) around certain candidates and take what they say as the gospel truth. Ostensibly, this would make the left a “better” party as far as policy goes, but in reality it makes them ineffective and prone to shooting themselves in the foot… routinely.
