nobody does? there’s a difference between valuing your ancestry and valuing your race. whiteness isn’t real, it’s constructed. 250 some years ago Benjamin Franklin thought Germans were too “swarthy”. Until a little over 100 years ago Irish were seen as racially inferior alongside Italians and Eastern / Southern Europeans. “White” is meaningless. There is no shared white culture or history. It’s a club that has expanded when convenient and vice versa.
