I just mean that you can say that Christianity shapes your politics You can even say that Islam does it (or at the very least say you are a Muslim publicly during campaign etc)

it is absolutely about beliefs. if superiority complexes were an issue to christians they would never elect their fellow christians. the reality is atheists don't value or entertain your beliefs which hurts your feelings and leaves you feeling small and disrespected
