It isn’t right now. Do you even realize how many medical instruments are made of or shipped in plastic? Food? Lab equipment? There’s a lot of stuff that’s made with plastic that we don’t have viable alternatives for. You can’t just manifest your way to a plastic-free world because you think it’s possible. A tax on plastics, for example, would actually encourage companies to explore alternatives without banning the “good” uses of plastics
