You do know that liberal arts ≠ liberal views, right? I know they sound similar, but that’s because the term “liberal” has more use than a purely American political affiliation. Frankly, the political usage of the world in this country is often blatantly wrong, because it’s almost entirely associated with the Democratic Party which, by necessity, is a big tent party.
