i’ll truly never forgive what they did to the indigenous peoples and these lands. i mean fuck, the British did it to the Irish & their lands too. Just totally destroyed their peat bogs & beautiful valleys and forests… and then we treated them like dirt when they fled to America too!

Chiming in about the fucking Irish, our population back on the island still hasn’t recovered to its numbers from before the Hunger, which was also due to the British and their fucking greed

i’m 4th gen Irish immigrant and learning about Ireland’s temperate rainforest being absolutely decimated by the British had me absolutely sobbing & clinging to my Connemara marble worry stone that my grandmother got from the isle decades ago.
