I’m not buying the “support the mom, not the pregnancy” narrative. Teen pregnancy gets glorified, kids see it, and repeat it. I was raised by a teen mom, I know the damage firsthand. I’m not supporting or celebrating it. Period.

they downvoting but ur right. even if the mother has resources, a support system etc. a teen who knows nothing of adulthood and whose brain is not fully developed should not be responsible for teaching safety, emotional regulation, and responsibility to a child when they have yet to gain that experience themselves. the work it takes these days to rear a well adjusted and educated child is not a task for another child. period.

I’d love to mention the fact that they never grow up either. My mother still acts like a teenager and she’s almost 50 years old now.
