People who don’t worry about Apple and Google with your data have never seen it in the wrong hands. I think much of that data gets put to good use, but things go south as soon as the government gets ahold of it (they are)

Big tech can’t do anything though. They don’t have a military and can’t pass laws. It’s when they share it with the govt is the problem. The reason why you know to avoid bad traffic is because of Apple and Google.
