The House of Representatives desperately needs to be expanded. 435 was the number set in 1929 when the population was 120 million. We’re at 350 million now.

Yeah the amount of power currently concentrated in the hands of an elected rep right now is more than almost any human can reasonably tolerate without it corrupting them

Because we are not represented equally. Wyoming residents for example have by far the most individual voting power. If California had representation proportional to Wyoming, they’d have about 69 representatives but now they only have 52. A presidential vote in Wyoming is worth roughly 3 times more than a vote in California. That’s not fair and equal representation
