back in like march or april i got 32gb of 5600mhz ddr5 (sodimm) and a 1tb nvme ssd for my laptop. the total (with a screwdriver), was 134.16. right now, the exact same ssd is ON SALE for 138.79, down from 160.79. the ram? ON SALE AT 318.79. FULL PRICE? 375.79

I stand corrected this is crazy HAHAHA I also have a 32GB DDR5 SODIMM kit that’s doubled in price since I got it, I’m surprised it’s not more with it being a Crucial kit 🫩

NO LIKE FR, I built my pc around the same exact time with a nice 32GB RGB ram kit and a 512GB boot SSD, mine was around $175 and now the RAM alone is $500 before taxes 💀💀💀

sweet god i have gold at home, the original ram i had in my laptop is 16gb of i think 4800mhz ddr5, thats like 150 now, and i was gonna throw it away then but was concerned about disposal

throwback to ripping open my laptop and shoving more ram into it in 2020 for less than $35. That was fun. Extremely unfortunate I wasted that opportunity on an HP shitbook
