I keep hearing that Gaza cost Kamala but I’ve still never seen any real evidence to support that. Sure I can get behind it cost her MI based on Dearborn Heights and Hamtramck voter tallies. But I’ve not seen evidence it cost her PA, NV, WI, GA, AZ.

This is why the DNC needs to release their 2024 autopsy

I personally think it was more than Gaza (I voted for Kamala btw) but her response to Gaza really embodies a lot of the major issues with her campaign.

I think it was much more Americans believing Donald Trump would be good for the economy than anything.

I completely agree with that and I do think it still hurt her with key demographics. I just don’t think it was the issue that sunk the campaign.

The economy/inflation is based off what I’ve seen consistently been the #1 issue across the states and was the issue that led so many suburbanites (especially suburban women) to vote Trump.

nah, we need to move on

How does one move on without meaningfully assessing their previous mistakes?

Ah yes, move on without learning a single lesson about why we lost so badly

they have, thats the point of the study. that doesnt mean it needs to be released publicly

strange rewrite of 2024. dems didnt lose “so badly”

upvote -1 downvote

If they had they would release it, that’s the whole point. Many voters were tired of the lack of transparency, so to refuse to be transparent is… not a good look

They lost every swing state. That’s pretty bad. Can I have whatever you’re huffing?

upvote 10 downvote

no, the whole point is to give candidates the guidance to win elections. that doesnt necessarily involve releasing it publicly

So just a handful of DNC elites actually know the results and they just expect democratic candidates and voters to just go along with “trust us, we know what’s best even though we lost so thoroughly last time” instead of being able to come to their own conclusions?

What if someone from the public decided to run? Are they just simply not allowed to access that knowledge?

upvote 6 downvote

youre not considering the circumstances of the race. the deck was incredibly stacked against kamala, who only had 100 days to run a campaign

Refusing to be transparent does not inspire trust from voters.

upvote 6 downvote

uh yes, thats the whole point of doing the study in the first place. this also totally misses the fact that countless studies have been done abt 2024 publicly. we know the dynamics of the outcome

they summarize the guidance in the playbook on their website, you can go look at it

If the public studies were the same as the one conducted by the democrats, why are they being so tight-lipped about releasing their findings?

upvote 6 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #1 2w

the point of the study is to create workable guidance for candidates, not to continue the endless litigation of 2024

upvote -1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

Where are you getting the “continue the endless litigation of 2024” outcome from? How can anyone predict what would happen from the autopsy being released?

upvote 3 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

Once again, why trust the DNC to come up with “workable guidance” instead of letting candidates and voters come to their own conclusions. The DNC is not exactly trustworthy at this point, and this decision does nothing to help

no matter what the report actually says, the far left will cling to anything to sow division in the party, this is obvious to anyone paying attention

upvote -2 downvote

because the point of the organization is to actually organize. and letting statistically illiterate people glom onto whatever conclusion confirms their biases is not unifying, its the exact opposite actually

upvote -1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

Ah yes because you totally have a magic ball that tells you the future exactly how it will play out. The far left was going to do that anyways, and now that have even more of a reason to criticize the DNC. Foot, meet mouth.

it doesnt take a magic ball to know the people who rabidly hate the dnc will take any opportunity to do this lmao

So instead of just releasing their findings after announcing they would, the DNC gave critics an even better reason to despise them. Nice going!

yeah, they dont want to give the far left more ammunition to divide the party. its really that simple

So now the far left can spread rumors about why Dems lost instead of having actual data to support any claims. Really just sounds like the DNC doesn’t like what they found

I mean for what it’s worth we know for a fact more Bernie supporters in 2016 voted for Hillary than Hillary supporters voted for Obama in 2008 yet it doesn’t stop the center of the party from blaming Bernie supporters for Hillary’s loss in 2016. you’re kind of pulling a pot calling the kettle black rn.

Not shocked that you don’t care because apparently you don’t even care about what happened in a general election that just happened. Nevertheless all you’re showing is the point just flew straight over your head.

i do care, the report is a red herring to shit on the dnc. theres plenty of studies we can look at right now to determine what happened. no ones interested in doing that though

Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

Saying we need to move on from an absolute disaster of an election against a deranged Donald Trump doesn’t signal that you care. And you’re right there are plenty of studies but the most definitive thing that could put it to bed would be the autopsy and would be a win for transparency which yes I think we’re owed. My problem with ppl like you is you care more about protecting the team then fixing the root issues that’s holding the team back. You’d rather look good than actually be good.

The DNC spent huge amounts of time and money to create a report that’s a red herring to shit on the DNC? If that were true, it’s even more of a reason not to trust their prescribed guidance

ive said like 5 times what the purpose of the report is, im saying the insistence on the report by the far left media is a red herring because we can just look at the data thats already out there. they just want to shit on the dnc

The report is completely meaningless without the data used to back up its claims. Might as well be pulled out of the DNC’s ass
