I’ve noticed this so much that a lot of religious ppl never read their bible while a lot of non religious ppl or atheists know more versus of the Bible

Actually finally reading the Bible after being religious for two decades is what pushed me over into being agnostic

Yeah some people, and this is true of all religions, consider themselves to be part of the religion and make it part of their identity, yet take no measures to actually engage in the religion and follow its teachings

Religion pushes war so a lot of ppl who learn about religion criticize it and choose to not follow it

Religion does not "push" war (excluding judaism and islam) but it does teach to defend those who you love against people who wish to do you harm

Im not seeing an issue here, people that wish to do us harm should be brought the sword. Not simply "infidels" or "goyim" but actual people who want to hurt us

After we used god and democracy and sold them weapons during the Cold War to fighting the evil atheist communist Soviet Union in the name of god. We literally spent the entire 80s arming the countries in the Middle East that attacked us and caused a whole revolution in Iran that over through the free society that was in place before

You’re picking and choosing which commandments to follow lol that’s part of the problem with the Bible. It contradicts itself all the fucking time and is chockfull of nuance
