no, it’ll be the next controversy that people will rush to defend their team’s side instead of having conversations about it the whole ICE debate irks me because it feels like the two mainstream positions are either absolute abolishment or absolute defense of all ICE agents’ actions, I think ICE is necessary when they follow the law like they’re supposed to, we need more training for agents and better practices / databases to reference, not absolute abolishment or inaction imo
