I know employees can’t refuse ICE. This isn’t about that. The hotel could issue a statement to refuse ICE and deal with the repercussions in court. We are at war against Nazis.

I mean what’s a statement gonna do? The hotels would still legally have to house them, they’d just have their posts removed. Like you’re not wrong in businesses should be making stands, but it needs to be crafted to be in compliance with the law so it actually does something instead of shuts them down with bankrupt from court fees and endangers their workers

Because the hotels should take a stand. Employees just toe the line. I never said employees should sacrifice their job. Backtracking =/= clarifying things and correcting assumptions you made. We’re in an economic crisis and you want businesses to waste money? They would end up paying THOUSANDS in fines just for the ICE agents to be able to return anyways, if they don’t get shut down.
