It is illegal to obstruct a session of congress and he kept grabbing the door and resisting arrest

How did they break his arm?

3-4 tried to take him down (and failed) which is insanely badass, but he was holding on to the door you could clearly hear the bone break which is sad and grossed me out i can’t stand the sound or sight of bones breaking / limbs bending ways they shouldn’t🥴

Why was he holding onto the door?

I’m confused

He was trying to anchor himself so he wouldn’t be forced out.

So…he was being forced out, and he intentionally held onto the door, which caused his arm to break?

There’s videos of it everywhere, just watch the video it will make sense

Look up the video. It was a bit hard to explain. He’d grabbed onto a doorknob on the inside of some weird wall, so his forearm was bent around the wall. All of the weight they were forcing on him caused his arm to get lodged between the gap and the wall. Imagine the same process as breaking a stick over your knee. That was the middle of his forearm.

It looked like it got caught. At first he was holding on intentionally but in all the chaos of people tackling him it got stuck but they kept pulling

yeah i think some of the officers were trying to get his hand free when it happened, it didn’t seem like anyone did it on purpose it was all just chaos

the officers were just doing their jobs, they’re required to immediately remove anyone who interrupts a hearing like that. mcginnis was standing up for what he believes in and possibly dealing with some mental health issues? but he’s also extremely strong and has extensive combat training. and that dumbass senator got involved and made everything even more chaotic

Oh yeah it was definitely accidental. Fuck em anyway.

the cops should have handled it better and maybe mcginnis should have just left but i mostly blame the senator

Hey so how often do you find yourself reminding everyone about what happens to people who resist arrest?

oh ok so this hasn’t been confirmed yet so take it w a grain of salt but there’s a video of him saying that he has major PTSD from Iraq and that he committed “atrocities” (his word, he didn’t say what specifically) at the bidding of the American government. he has apparently really struggled mentally in the last few years with coming home, having children, and hearing about Gaza. i’m sure the news about Iran pushed him over the edge mentally

When they do something stupid and illegal on camera and people try to defend them. I do it a lot with Ashli Babbitt. That was a really funny case. Basically, if I was in China in the Warring States period, I would be a Legalist. Don’t break the law in stupid ways and you won’t face stupid consequences.

Goddamn. Wouldn’t surprise me. My uncle was severely fucked up from Iraq. This shit is bringing back his flashbacks and psychosis symptoms. Those rich old fucks were probably the ones who sent him to battle in the first place. And now that he’s back they only see him as a nuisance at best.

The end of the video, where the camera turned to show that not a SINGLE FUCKING ONE OF THEM had turned around to even look what bone-chilling. They are apathetic and united in their efforts to get us killed.

i’m so sorry, i hope your uncle finds some peace. my grandfather was in the air force in vietnam and though i never got to know him i know it affected him deeply. and yeah, i bet it was some of the exact same politicians. the way we treat veterans in this country is atrocious

Thanks. I do too. We idolize vets just enough to make them useful tools for campaigning politicians. Not to actually help them. The whole “respect our troops” line now just means, “respect your government’s authority and deny its atrocity.”

A small group of people where allowed to accumulate way too much power and wealth a long time ago, and they’ve used that power to secure that position for themselves and their offspring. Now they’re so far removed from normal society, they don’t even see 99% of us as people. We’re tools. Cattle. Bodies. Holes. Weapons. Ornaments. Meat. Nothing deserving of empathy or respect.

the severity of the response does not match the severity of the crime. not to mention he was *stuck* in the door. but while we're here though can you name the legal code that makes it illegal?

It’s a component of fascist rhetoric to act as though defiance justifies any and all means of suppressing that defiance. It is not the role of law enforcement to issue out sentences and carry out punishments. That’s the job of the courts if he really did break any law. Law enforcement officers are NEVER justified in harming or killing ANYONE unless they are an imminent threat to a person’s life or safety.

vote and encourage everyone yk to vote. and research your candidates. honestly, protesting hasn’t been as effective as it should be and has caused a lot of harm. but if you have the chance to do it safely, then that helps too. learn what you can and share that information with the uninformed.
